The Area Sales Leader is responsible for the commercial development and the turnover realized in the defined area. This position is based in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
The objective is to develop the commercial activity via different existing market segments and targeting new market segments. Marketing responsibility are co shared with General Manager. Direct contact and Physical presence at clients is essential.
Sales
- Insures a profitable sales growth and company brand recognition in the area.
- Handles Sales agreements with clients:
- Serve existing accounts and builds and maintains effective longterm relationships with a defined customer base to ensure a high level of satisfaction and increase revenues (within municipalities the local ministries and with the private sector)
- Actively prospect for new business
- Creates monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline
- Plans facilitates and/or conducts complex negotiations typically over a long sales cycle (i.e. one year or more) to reach longterm agreements and commitments.
- Identifies develops and typically closes new sales opportunities.
- Identifies and prioritizes new client opportunities and develops solution implementation and growth strategies.
- Manages the preparation of bids and tenders with particular emphasis on establishing the organizations trading terms / with national regional or local governments. Draw up the regional sales budget and define the appropriate action plan.
- Followup of results and check /implement them with welldefined targets to the Area Sales Manager
Marketing
- Acquire and maintain complete knowledge of the companys range of solutions features and benefits of those products and services that the Group can offer. Proactive actions required
- Analyses market needs and opportunities.
- Determine the product range and market approach
- Participates actively in the development of new products and services.
- Contributes to the Communication strategy
- Implement the companys long term vision in line with the Group strategy.
People Management
- Leads manage develop and motivate the employees within the department.
- Manage the network of sales people. Motivate the colleagues to ensure the companys sales.
- Coaches the team by giving them clear targets and checks this by the results
Qualifications :
Education:
Master Degree in Engineering Architecture Geographer Sales Business
Experience:
At least 10 years of relevant experience in Lighting industry in KSA
Knowledge & Skill:
Languages : English (B2 local language

Results driven
Excellent negotiation & communication skills (written oral)
Excellent knowledge of the market (paysagiste architecte bureau dtudes) competition & lighting industry
