Pro Logistic Solutions the storage service division of QED is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager at our Aurora warehouse. This team is critical to the just-in-time distribution and maintenance of prepaid electrical materials for our customers. The Manager will oversee daily operations ensuring the efficient handling storage and timely delivery of materials. This role involves leading a small but dynamic team and optimizing processes for top-tier service.
What youll do:
- Manage and oversee all warehouse operations including the receipt storage and distribution of prepaid electrical materials.
- Lead train and manage a small team providing guidance support and development opportunities to optimize performance.
- Maintain and monitor warehouse inventory levels ensuring efficient use of space and resources.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Coordinate logistics and deliveries to meet customer needs with just-in-time precision and ensure accurate orders.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as procurement sales and customer service to align inventory management with customer demands.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and streamline processes.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics and report out on progress.
- Assign daily tasks and set performance goals to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
- Determine team priorities work assignments and methods required to meet schedule.
- Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Work with other departments to improve equipment functionality throughput and uptime of equipment.
- Performing all tasks while following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) manufactures literature and safety policies. Amend existing SOPs aligning with best practices.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned.
What youll bring:
- Bachelors degree preferred with emphasis on business management supply chain logistics and/or equivalent knowledge through job related experience and training
- Five years Warehouse leadership experience and training
- Extensive experience in supply chain ideally within an electrical distribution business
- Data analysis understanding of logistics system processes to drive accuracy and efficiency
- Familiar with a variety of electrical industry concepts practices and procedures
- Ability to develop close working relationships with both customers and colleagues
- Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals
- Possess in depth knowledge of QED computer systems Eclipse Microsoft Office etc.
- Collaborate mentor motivate and lead logistics associates in a matrix organization
- Team player who acts in alignment with QEDs strong core values and beliefs
- Forklift certification and other similar equipment experience.
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving practices policies and techniques.
Location: Aurora CO
Schedule: 7:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday
Compensation: $65000 - $85000 annually
