Job Summary

Manufacturing Technician - Sandblasting

325 George St Beckley WV 25801

7am - 430pm M-F

Additional overtime available based on business requirements

Compensation: $16.00 per hour

Purpose of Role: Manufacturing Techniciansset up run and maintain manufacturing equipment and assembly processes. This role specifically runs a sandblasting machine ensuring that all equipment is working efficiently monitoring production processes and making adjustments or troubleshoot as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

Follows production guidelines and specifications
Operates and maintains machinery and production line equipment
Conducting quality checks on the functionality of parts and components
Adding finishing touches to the appearance of components
Performing minor repairs and reporting breakdowns in a timely manner
Keeping equipment maintenance logs
Collaborating with other departments to complete production orders on time

Requirements:

Willingness to be trained on new tasks including a fork-lift
Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment
Work as a team within department and with other departments and Leads
Ability to work scheduled hours and comply with the company policies

Required Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work with cranes
Ability to work in an indoor/outdoor environment.
Must be able to stand sit and bend in a manufacturing environment.
Required PPE: steel-toed shoes safety glasses dust masks and/or respirators.
