About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Mammography Technologist for a 13-week contract in Craig CO. This role is ideal for a Mammo Tech with strong breast imaging experience patient care skills and knowledge of mammography regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Perform mammography and radiologic imaging procedures
Support daily operations of the womens health radiology section
Follow FDA ALARA accreditation and quality assurance standards
Verify exam orders patient identity medical history and required consent
Provide patient education before during and after procedures
Maintain accurate patient records charges and exam documentation
Operate mammography equipment safely and troubleshoot issues as needed
Assist with QA preventative maintenance supply inventory and workflow support
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required
ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) required
BLS/BCLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
Mammography experience required
PACS and RIS/HIS experience preferred
Cross-training in CT MRI or DEXA preferred
Ability to work day shift
