Job Summary
Long Haul Driver WarehouseThe salary range for this role is $29 to $30 per hour/annually*.Role OverviewAs a Long Haul Driver you will deliver merchandise using our semi-trucks to retail stores. This is a Monday Friday position. Drivers typically travel an average of 1500 to 2100 miles per week in well-maintained trucks. Drivers are home some weeknights and most provide tailgate delivery and are responsible for securing and protecting all products in the delivery vehicle. The driver must document all vehicle movement on daily route and log sheets and conduct a daily inspection of the assigned vehicle to ensure safety and maintenance guidelines are and ResponsibilitiesVerify correct product and accessories for delivery or returnObserve DOT Hours of Service regulations and maintain accurate logsFollow equipment and product security policiesEnsure delivery schedule is followedSafely operate delivery vehicleDocument all vehicle movement on daily route sheetsConduct daily inspection of assigned delivery vehicle to ensure safety and proper maintenanceOther tasks as assigned by managementEducation and ExperienceCurrent Class A CDL12 years of driving experienceMust be 21 years old and pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screeningRequired SkillsExtremely flexible with the ability to shift priorities easilyPositive can-do attitude in a fast-paced ever-changing environmentAarons Total RewardsOur team members are our greatest asset.
