Full Stack Software Developer

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to support our client based in Miami Florida.

US BASED CANDIDATES ONLY.

This is an onsite position. Candidates must be located in or near Miami Florida.

The project

TECKpert seeks to hire a Full Stack Software Developer to support our client a public school district in Miami-Dade County FL. The role supports modernization of a Student Information System for a large public school district. The developer will work as a technical expert across multiple platforms designing and delivering enterprise-grade application and custom integration solutions contributing to long-term IT strategy and mentoring more junior technical staff. The work spans the full lifecycle of custom software development with a strong DevOps orientation.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy.
• Develop enterprise-level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements interfaces functions and features.
• Use a variety of platforms to deliver automated systems applications to internal customers.
• Provide expertise on integration of applications across the business.
• Determine specifications then plan design and develop the most complex and business-critical software solutions.
• Assist with the most difficult support problems and triage.
• Develop programming and development standards procedures and architectures for code reuse.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art programming languages and object-oriented approaches.
• Research and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and their potential application to the business.
• Act as an internal consultant advocate mentor and change agent across technical disciplines.

Compensation and Term

This opportunity is for a full-time position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $150000 per year. Medical dental vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.

Candidates are expected to work onsite at our clients location.

Qualifications you need

A successful candidate possesses or provides the following:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field. Masters Degree preferred. Equivalent work experience considered.
• Typically 7 to 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience.
• Knowledge of DevOps environments and deployment workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Angular C# SQL databases Python and API development.
• Experience in mobile development for Android and Apple platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to translate highly complex technical concepts for peers and customers.
• Experience coaching and mentoring more junior technical staff.
• Experience working on highly complex projects that span multiple technical areas and business segments.
