Core Functions:
Support the setup and operation of medical tubing extrusion lines under moderate supervision.
Operate assigned extrusion stations (foundational complexity) and follow established work instructions.
Inspect products for defects measuring dimensions and ensure compliance with specifications
Maintain pacing productivity and accuracy for the stations trained.
Work with engineering quality assurance and maintenance teams to optimize processes and resolve issues
Ensure proper material handling labeling and traceability.
Follow all safety cleanroom and PPE requirements.
Accurately and consistently record production data machine settings and maintenance issues for tracking and troubleshooting.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Background/Expertise:
High school diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Strong mathematical aptitude including the ability to calculate flow rates and measure circumference accurately.
Ability to read and interpret customized blueprints safety rules operating procedures maintenance instructions and other technical documentation.
Ability to write clear accurate reports and correspondence with proficiency in completing required documentation such as DPRs inventory management forms and data collections records.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and walk regularly throughout the day to perform production tasks.
Ability to perform repetitive movements while demonstrating strong handeye coordination manual dexterity and good vision.
