About the company At Urb-it, we have a mission to make busy cities a better place, by providing sustainable solutions that exceed customer expectations - one delivery at a time. More and more people are buying online everyday, expecting same-day delivery and as online traffic increases, so does the traffic on already busy city streets. We believe in sustainable deliveries for everyone - for the city, for their partners and for you. Our community of delivery assistants, Urbers, walk, bike or use public transport to hand-deliver items, picking them up directly from stores and delivery hubs around the city. That way we add neither vehicles to the streets, nor pollution to the air. No additional packaging is required and retailers have the benefit of having their bags being seen carried around the city. We offer a tailor-made, service-oriented, sustainable delivery solution that increases the retailer's competitive advantage. In line with the retailer's needs, the product can be implemented in various ways, ranging from an eCommerce integration to offering deliveries from a 'Click & Collect' transactions. Each member of our community offers first-class, personalised delivery services to retailers and consumers. Using a crowdsourced business model, each Urber chooses their own assignments on the Urber app and delivers using only sustainable methods; either by foot, bike or by public transport. We have offices in three cities - Stockholm, London and Paris. As a startup, we are flexible and fast with a team of experienced senior developers from different backgrounds.
