About Universität Leipzig
The Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics and ScaDS.AI seek to fill the following position at the earliest opportunity: Research Associate at the University of Leipzig, located at the chair of Multmodal Machine Learning headed by Prof. Dr. Alexander Binder. The starting date is the 1st of August 2025. The initial contract duration is 3 years until the end of July 2028. The position is subject to the regulations of the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz-WissZeitVG . An extension of the initial contract beyond the initial end date of June 2028 can be considered. The pay adheres to the public service salary grade TV-L E-13 of the free state of Saxony. Full-time employment is intended. This position comes with the opportunity of a graduation with a German Doctorate title, which is an internationally recognized Ph.D. equivalent degree, subject to excellent performance in research and the eligibility of a thesis submission.
