Warehouse Supervisor FML

Shift Pattern- Monday-Friday 06:00am-14:00pm

Salary- 35847.37

• Assist the Warehouse Manager in delivering the warehouse operation and supporting with responding to any operational issues within the warehouse.
• Scheduling and supervising the activities and the functions of the warehouse staff.
• Ensuring the proper and timely completion of all warehouse activities.
• Take ownership for disciplinary grievance and absence management cases within the shift
• Support the delivery of communication briefings so that all colleagues have been briefed and informed.
• Ensure compliance with the Companys Health & Safety policy and procedures through safe systems of work and practices good housekeeping and the provision of information and training to the warehouse team to ensure total safety awareness.
• Support individuals in meeting performance targets and respond to underperformance issues
• Maintain records of team performance and individual performance against plans and to advise the Warehouse Manager of factors that may disrupt operations which cannot be resolved by the team.
• Assist in the organisation of training and development for warehouse staff including on-the-job coaching.
• Assist the Warehouse Manager in controlling levels of planned and unplanned absence and take appropriate action to ensure cover as necessary and manage reductions of unacceptable levels.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience of operating in various positions within a warehouse including operating MHE and managing people.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Strong team player as well as able to work on their own initiative.
• In depth knowledge of operating warehouse systems.
• Good knowledge of health and safety
• Successful experience of achieving challenging deadlines and KPIs
• PC Literate to a minimum of intermediate level in MS Office.
• Good communication skills.
