Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance FLT)

Ripon (driving licence required) 27206 per annum rising to 28246 after 3 months Paid Weekly Full Time (Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehouse team. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth receipt storage picking and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of safety accuracy and efficiency.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative your duties will include:

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently

• Operating FLT equipment (Counterbalance licence preferred - training can be provided for the right candidate)

• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently

• Putting stock away in correct locations

• Completing warehouse documentation and paperwork accurately

• Supporting stock control and carrying out stock adjustments when required

• Maintaining a clean tidy and safe working environment at all times

• Working as part of a team to meet operational targets and customer expectations

• Following all health & safety procedures and site rules

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous warehouse experience

• A valid FLT Counterbalance licence (preferred but not essential as training can be provided)

• Good understanding of health & safety in a warehouse environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills

• A reliable and team-focused approach
