Job Summary
The Role
As a Team Lead within KOMIs Content Services team you will lead the review acceptance and delivery of viral video content across our client channels. You will be the editorial standard-bearer for your team - making sharp informed decisions about what content meets the mark and ensuring your researchers develop the same instinct over time.
Youll have a genuine command of what each client needs: their audience their tone and what makes content land. That knowledge sits at the core of everything you do from acceptance calls to team coaching to stakeholder conversations.
Alongside your leadership and editorial responsibilities youll contribute to content sourcing where needed and uphold the operational standards that keep the pipeline running cleanly.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Content Discovery team ensuring alignment with wider company objectives.
Review and accept content submitted by your team ensuring every piece meets quality standards and aligns with client needs before it progresses through the pipeline.
Make clear editorial decisions and communicate specific actionable feedback that sharpens your teams output over time.
Hold and maintain a detailed current understanding of each clients content requirements preferences and audience.
Take ownership of the weekly content plan ensuring volume quality and client alignment are consistently delivered.
Chair and participate in weekly quality control sessions to set and reinforce standards across the team.
Provide coaching support and structured feedback to team members to drive performance and development.
Facilitate regular team meetings one-to-ones and performance reviews.
Onboard new team members and maintain a productive accountable team culture.
Source video content across digital platforms and social media as required to support team output.
Collaborate with Content Services to tailor content for diverse markets and clients.
Stay consistently current with viral content trends to inform your editorial decisions.
Ensure content is accurately logged and records are maintained in line with internal processes and GDPR requirements.
Participate in stakeholder meetings and contribute to data-informed decisions on team performance and content strategy.
