Esland Daven School is an established specialist provision supporting children and young people aged 818 with SEND and SEMH needs. We are seeking a committed and skilled SEN Lead Maths Teacher.

The role:
As a SEN Teacher and subject lead youll play a key role in delivering high-quality engaging lessons tailored to individual needs. You will:
Plan and deliver lessons across core subjects (with a particular emphasis on Maths)
Support pupils academic and personal development through Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
Contribute to EHCP reviews and PEP meetings
Foster a safe inclusive and supportive learning environment
Work closely with colleagues families and external agencies
Promote safeguarding and wellbeing at all times

Requirements for a SEN Teacher:
Essential:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
A minimum of 2 years post graduation experience
Strong understanding of SEND and SEMH
Knowledge of assessment frameworks and progress tracking
Excellent behaviour management and inclusive teaching strategies
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
Experience in teaching across alternative subjects (and a willingness to support other departments as the team grows)
