SEMH HLTA Whats on Offer:
Competitive Outer London Salary (HLTA scale dependent on experience)
Permanent full-time role starting May/June
36 hours per week term-time only
Work within a brand-new SEMH provision in a mainstream primary setting
SEMH HLTA The Role:
Lead and deliver small group and one-to-one SEMH interventions across the primary phase
Support pupils with emotional regulation engagement and behaviour strategies
Work closely with teachers to plan and adapt learning for individual needs
Take responsibility for delivering planned lessons in teacher absence where appropriate
Contribute to behaviour support plans EHCP targets and pupil progress tracking
SEMH HLTA Who Were Looking For:
HLTA qualification or substantial experience working at HLTA level
Experience supporting children with SEMH needs in a school or similar setting
Experience in PRUs Alternative Provisions or SEN schools is desirable but not essential
A university degree is desirable but not essential
Strong communication skills and confidence leading small groups
Calm resilient approach with the ability to manage challenging behaviour
Ambition to contribute to the development of a new specialist provision
