Your Opportunity

This rewarding position sits at the heart of our school community acting as a vital bridge between home and school to improve attendance behaviour wellbeing and engagement in learning. Working collaboratively with staff families and external agencies you will deliver targeted early intervention support that removes barriers to education strengthens relationships and raises aspirations - ensuring every student is supported to thrive both academically and personally.

• GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
• Experience working with children or young people
• Understanding of barriers to learning and inclusion
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families
• Empathetic approachable and supportive

About de Stafford School

de Stafford is an 11-16 comprehensive schoollocated in Caterham Surrey which joined GLF Schools MAT in December 2016. Theschool has a PAN of 180 students per year group. The school servespredominantly the local Caterham community with the majority of studentsresiding within the CR3 catchment area.

The Details

Start Date: 1st September 2026

Salary: GLF Specialist Point 1 (27061) to Point 16 (35984) - dependent on experience

Actual Salary: 22633.74 to 30096.91 (dependent on experience)

Hours: 35hrs per week - 08:30-16:00 Mon to Fri (term time only)

Closing Date: 9am - Mon 8th June
