We are offering a full-time term-time Primary Education Delivery Practitioner role.
The right applicant must have a good understanding of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health) they must also have experience of working with a curriculum.
You must have a full clean driving licence own transport and prepared to travel.
You will be responsible for working with young people on a 1 to1 or group basis building and developing relationships to give them the confidence to access a learning environment.
Primary Duties: Primary Delivery Outdoor Education EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) to KS2 (Key Stage 2) mentoring and delivery.
To provide specialist play based and child led education on a 1 to 1 basis at times working alongside other practitioners with other students.
Your role will include:
- Engaging with young people in a positive and proactive way.
- Liaising with professionals family and other influencers
- Unpick progression barriers and move them closer to the next stage.
- Encourage an interest in academic subjects through play based and child led learning.
- Evidencing progression through a variety of tools. (photography awards)
- Engaging parents/carers providing holistic support
- Evidencing understanding and presenting of information gleaned from students.
- Provide both reactive and proactive methods of delivery.
- To support the delivery of 1-2-1 and group deliver for Pushforward Education - at our primary site in Bury st Edmunds but also on weekly excursions.
Tasks in the role include
- Development and Delivery of curriculum and sessions for 1-2-1 students and small group work.
- Liaise daily with administration to ensure evidence of work.
- Pick up and drop off learners from home and other venues on occasions.
- Follow strict safeguarding and health and safety protocols as part of Pushforward procedures.
