Operations Manager

We are now looking for a driven and experienced Operations Manager to lead our Wakefield site. This is a fantastic opportunity for a people-focused leader with a continuous improvement mindset to make a real impact in a highly regulated and fast-moving environment.

As Operations Manager youll:

• Lead and develop production and engineering teams to deliver on-time high-quality service to our customers.

• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency through Lean principles and the Elis Production Essentials.

• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and regulatory standards.

• Take responsibility for site performance resource planning budgeting and forecasting.

• Work closely with the General Manager deputising when required and contributing to long-term strategy.

• Champion a One Team culture across functions including engineering service textile and logistics.

• Proven experience in production supply chain or service management ideally in a regulated or process-driven industry.

• Strong people leadership skills able to motivate coach and inspire high-performing teams.

• Commercial and financial acumen with experience in budgeting forecasting and resource planning.

• Knowledge of ERP systems and strong analytical skills.

• A proactive customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.

• Desirable: experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies and NEBOSH certification.
