Job Summary
Due to continued growth within the company our client is now looking to increase its ocean export team and is now looking for an Ocean Export LCL Operator to join them at their Basildon office.
The main purpose of the role will be to manage export LCL process start to finish via in house system
Duties will include:
Receive bookings from clients and issue confirmation e-mail.
Book containers with carriers and apply for hazardous approval to ensure the most
efficient and profitable loadings
Liaise with UK warehouses to book container loading.
Issue loading manifests to warehouses
Check Master Bill of Lading send out Pre-Alerts to overseas agents.
Issue manifest to warehouses
Organise transport with UK warehouses if required
Ensure all operational issues are dealt with promptly and effectively and records are noted on the file.
Check purchase invoices making sure the correct charges and costs are applied and pass for payment.
Deal with any invoice queries and notify appropriate parties
Requirements
You will need to have experience of ocean exports for this role either FCL or LCL and have good IT skills and be able to work in a fast pace environment.

Salary of 30/35k depending on experience work within a friendly team and have the full support of the management. The offices are modern and open plan which are centrally located.
