Location: UK / Ireland (with international travel)
Overview We are looking to speak with experienced marine personnel to support uncrewed surface vessel (USV) operations on a range of offshore survey and data acquisition projects. This is a hands-on field-based role supporting the mobilisation deployment and ongoing operations of USVs.
Key Responsibilities
Mobilisation and preparation of USVs for offshore projects and sea trials
Assisting with load-outs transport and equipment setup
Supporting launch and recovery operations
Acting as on-site / nearshore representative during USV operations
Liaising with vessel crews and local support teams
Assisting survey and technical teams with equipment installation and maintenance
Ensuring safe working practices and compliance with HSE procedures
Providing real-time feedback on local conditions to support operational decision-making
Requirements
Previous marine experience (small craft or commercial marine environment)
Full driving licence (experience towing trailers highly beneficial)
Strong practical and hands-on approach
Good communication and ability to work as part of a small team
Willingness to travel and work flexible / rotational shifts
Nice to Have
Yachtmaster Master 200 or equivalent marine certification
Experience with marine maintenance or mechanical tasks
Sea survival or offshore safety training
HGV licence
