About the role

  • Make an impact
    Play a key role in financial governance reporting and forecasting ensuring accurate and timely information for stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively
    Partner with operational teams senior managers and budget holders to improve financial understanding and support informed decision-making.
  • Support planning and performance
    Contribute to budgeting forecasting and long-term business planning helping shape financial direction.
  • Drive improvement
    Support the development of systems processes and controls with a focus on continuous improvement.

Skills and experience needed

Were looking for someone with experience of preparing management accounts and financial reports with strong analytical skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly.

Youll be confident working with senior stakeholders managing competing priorities and supporting colleagues in a business partnering environment. A practical understanding of financial controls risk and regulation is important along with a proactive approach to improving processes.

Ideally youll be a CCAB qualified accountant but were also happy to hear from part-qualified candidates working towards qualification.

This is a hybrid role based in Swansea Cardiff or Newport with agile working to support flexibility and collaboration. This role is a full-time permanent (37 hours per week).

Salary is 44632 FTE (part-qualified) or 52909 FTE (qualified).
