We are currently recruiting for a Food Safety Systems Controller to join a well-established and rapidly growing food manufacturing company based in Bedfordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about food safety quality and continuous improvement within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety product quality and site compliance while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the internal audit programmes ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Oversee and update shelf-life management system to ensure product compliance and accuracy.
The maintenance and verification of certificates such as Certificates of Conformance (COC) and Certificates of Analysis (COA).
Actively participate in customer visits audits and traceability exercises.
Cross-functional team collaboration to drive the continuous improvement of food safety standards on site.
Ensure all products distributed are complaint and up to standard.
What we are looking for
Previous food manufacturing experience.
Strong knowledge of BRC standards.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of food safety standards audits and compliance processes.
