Counterbalance FLT Driver Severnside (BS35)
Salary:% shift allowance 31447 per year
Shifts:Double Days MonFri (6am2pm / 2pm10pm weekly rotation)
Contract:Full-time Permanent

Location: Severnside BS35 4GH (commutable from Bristol Avonmouth Thornbury Filton Yate Chepstow Newport & surrounding areas)

About the role

Were looking for an experiencedCounterbalance FLT Driverto join CHEP the global leader in pallet crate and container pooling. Youll be working with4.5-ton triple fork vehiclesin a busy yard environment loading/unloading HGVs and moving pallet stacks.

What youll do

• Safely operate FLT trucks to support production & haulier operations
• Direct visiting vehicles during loading & unloading
• Maintain smooth flow on production lines within agreed SLAs
• Assist with manual inspection & repair of equipment in the yard
• Report any damage or operational issues promptly
• Handle and rotate stock safely and efficiently
  

What we need from you

• Experience as a Counterbalance FLT Driver (busy yard/HGV loading preferred)
• External FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR) is ideal in-house licences considered
• Experience with double/triple fork FLTs big advantage
• Safety-conscious reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
