Location - London - Wandsworth

Salary - Up to 55000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiencedFire & Security professionalto join the training team as aFire & Security Tutor delivering industry-leading technical training to apprentices and engineers.

You will play a key role in developing the next generation ofFire Emergency and Security Systems (FESS) engineers delivering classroom and practical training aligned with theLevel 3 Fire Emergency & Security Systems apprenticeship standard.

Working within a specialist training environment you will help learners develop thetechnical knowledge practical skills and professional behavioursrequired to succeed in the fire and security industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging technical training sessions covering fire security and electronic systems.

• Teach apprentices how to install commission maintain and fault-find fire and security systems.

• Provide instruction on access control intruder alarms CCTV and fire detection systems.

• Support apprentices in understanding electrical principles system design commissioning and compliance standards.

• Assess learner progress through practical demonstrations coursework and assessments.

• Provide mentoring and guidance to support learners technical development and career progression.

• Maintain accurate training records and assessment documentation.

• Work with internal stakeholders and employers to ensure apprentices achieve industry-recognised qualifications.

What Were Looking For

• Strong background as a Fire & Security Engineer or Technical Specialist

• Experience with installation commissioning servicing and maintenance of fire and security systems

• Knowledge of CCTV Access Control Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarm systems

• Ability to coach mentor and develop engineers or apprentices

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Passion for developing new talent in the fire and security industry
