Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join a growing and fast-paced food manufacturing business in Cornwall.
This is a hands-on role leading the day-to-day transactional finance function managing core finance operations across accounts payable accounts receivable credit control banking cashflow FX expenses reconciliations and month-end processing. The position also offers the opportunity to drive process improvements strengthen controls and lead a high-performing finance team within a dynamic operational environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing AP AR credit control banking cash and FX operations
- Leading transactional finance processes and month-end close activities
- Overseeing supplier payments customer collections reconciliations and VAT compliance
- Managing and developing a finance processing team
- Driving process improvement automation and reporting efficiencies
- Supporting audits controls and wider finance operations
What we are looking for:
- Strong finance management or senior transactional finance experience
- Background within manufacturing food manufacturing FMCG logistics or similar operational environments
- Strong understanding of AP AR cashflow controls reconciliations and month-end processes
- Experience leading or supervising finance teams
- Strong systems and Excel capability
- Organised hands-on and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
