Finance Business Partner

Were looking for a Finance Business Partner to work closely with commercial and sales teams helping them make better decisions and ultimately drive profitable growth.

This isnt a back-office reporting role. Its about being involved early in pricing deals and strategy and having a point of view that people listen to.

The role

Youll partner with sales leadership and the wider commercial function getting under the skin of performance - whats working what isnt and helping to maximise margin.

Day to day that means:

• Supporting pricing decisions tenders and deal reviews
• Building financial models to assess different scenarios
• Analysing customer product and contract profitability
• Producing reporting that actually gets used not just filed away
• Challenging assumptions and pushing for better outcomes
• Supporting budgeting forecasting and longer-term planning

Theres also a big focus on improving how things are done - whether thats better MI cleaner data or simplifying reporting processes.

What were looking for

Youll be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) ideally with a couple of years experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role.

More importantly youll:

• Be comfortable working with non-finance stakeholders
• Have strong analytical skills and be confident in Excel/data
• Be able to explain numbers in a way that makes sense
• Not be afraid to question decisions or offer an alternative view

Experience working with sales teams or in a pricing-led environment would be useful but not essential.
