DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Director 3rd Party RM. Program (BPO) located in Leeds UK West Chester PA USA Raynham MA USA Raritan NJ USA or Ireland.

Job Overview

TheDirectorThirdParty Risk Management Programprovidesstrategic leadershipandenablement ofaneffectiveenterprise-wide third-party risk management (TPRM) program with a focus on mitigating anti-bribery/anti-corruption risks ( Corrupt Practices Actand similar laws) inthird-party intermediaryengagements.Serving as theBusiness Process Owner (BPO)for TPRM this individualworks closely with stakeholders acrossCompliance Legal Information Technology (IT) Procurementandother functionsto define program requirements implement enabling technology solutions and continuously improveglobal processes and tools.

This role requires aforward-looking leaderwho canchampion an ethical business cultureandfoster organizational change. The Director willmodel integrityempower cross-functional collaboration and ensure that managing third-party compliance risk becomes an integral ongoing part of the companys business processes. By balancing thorough risk controls withbusiness enablement the Director of TPRM helpsprotect the companys reputation and ensure sustainable growthin a complex global environment.

This role reports totheSenior Director HCC RiskMgmtStrategy & Enablement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providestrategic direction and governancefor the global TPRM programas the BPOestablishingpolicies procedures andoversight structuresto managethird-party intermediary risks enterprise-wide. Setglobal standardsand drive consistency across all regions while accommodating local regulatory requirements.

  • Develop andmaintainarisk-based segmentationandassessment frameworkfor third parties ensuring each intermediary is categorized by risk level (e.g.by country corruption index service type HCP/HCO interactions)to ensure third partiesreceiveappropriate duediligence andoversight.

  • Oversee robustpre-engagement due diligenceprocesses (e.g.background checks sanctions screenings reputation reviews) toidentifypotentialanti-corruption red flagsor compliance issues before onboarding new third-party intermediaries. Ensure due diligence depth iscommensuratewith the third partys risk profile.

  • Partner with Legal inproviding contractual safeguards (e.g. Compliance clauses audit rights etc.).

  • Partner with IT and digital teamstodefine requirements and implement technology solutions(e.g. third-party lifecycle management platforms due diligence tools automated workflow systems) that increase efficiency and effectiveness of TPRM processes. Continuously evaluate new tools (e.g. risk intelligence databases automation data analytics platforms) anddrive enhancementsto keep the program current with best practices and evolving risks

  • Drivedevelopmentofdata analyticsandreporting capabilitiesto continuously measure and improve the TPRM program.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required:Bachelors degree in Law Business Compliance Finance Healthcare Administration ora relatedfield.

  • Preferred:Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g. Compliance Legal Risk or Ethicsrelated).

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • 1012 years of progressive experiencein healthcare compliance legal risk management audit or related fields.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance laws regulations and enforcement practices.

  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive compliant decisionmaking in highly regulated environments.

  • Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation ofprocesses and systems to supportrisk management programs.

  • Strong analytical skills sound judgment and effective decisionmaking and problemsolving capabilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex compliance topics clearly.

  • Strong change management and stakeholder engagement skills are key to successfully embedding the TPRM program into an organizations operations and continuously improving it over time

Preferred:

  • Experience in medical devices pharmaceuticals or broader life sciences industries.

  • Experienceoperatingin highly matrixed multicultural organizations.

  • Language:Fluency in English.

  • Travel:Up to2030%

  • Certifications:Compliance legal or ethicscertificationspreferred but not.
