Cover Supervisor
Job Summary
Aureus Primary School is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join us on a temporary contract to cover maternity leave whilst playing a vital role in supporting high-quality learning across the school. If you are passionate about wanting to make a difference in Childrens lives we would love to hear from you!
Your opportunity
In this dynamic position you will deliver and support engaging lessons in the absence of the subject teacher ensuring continuity of education while maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement. Working closely with teaching staff and the wider inclusion team you will motivate and support students of all abilities provide meaningful feedback on their progress and contribute to a positive inclusive learning environment aligned with the schools values and development priorities.
What were looking for:
- Teaching assistant experience
- Good literacy and numeracy skills evidenced by grade C at GCSE (or equivalent) in English & Maths
- Achieved or working towards HLTA qualification
- Able to confidently and competently apply knowledge and skills acquired from training into a practical classroom context
- Ability to relate to and communicate with children in and out of the classroom
- A trustworthy approachable and passionate attitude towards making a positive impact on students lives.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in line with GLF Schools policies.
This role is suited to someone who is dedicated patient and enthusiastic about helping students reach their full potential.

The Details
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: GLFAssociate 3 - FTE 25001Actual Salary: 19417
Hours: Mon - Fri 8:20am - 3:20pm 32.5 hours per week (Term time plus Inset - 39 weeks).
Closing Date: 17th June at 9.30am
