Our client is a fast-growing media and events company serving the global commodities and energy sectors with revenue approaching 80m. The business is accelerating its transition from a traditional publishing model to a recurring revenue data-led business. The Commercial Director is hiring an Analyst to help the team track performance sharpen pricing and build a more data-driven sales approach.
The Role
As Commercial Analyst you will be the analytical backbone of the Commercial team building reports analysing revenue trends modelling pricing scenarios and producing the insight that helps the team make faster better decisions.
What Youll Do
Build and maintain commercial reporting across revenue pipeline retention and pricing for weekly and monthly leadership updates.
Conduct pricing analysis across product lines modelling the impact of price changes on revenue and margin.
Analyse customer and segment performance to highlight growth and churn trends.
Support annual budgeting and forecasting with detailed revenue modelling by product and segment.
Produce ad hoc analysis to support strategic decisions and new product business cases.
What Were Looking For
13 years of experience in a commercial analyst business analyst or revenue analyst role.
Strong Excel skills and experience building structured financial or commercial models.
Comfortable analysing large datasets and presenting findings clearly to non-analytical audiences.
Experience with Salesforce or CRM data is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary ofdepending on experience.
Annual performance bonus.
25 days holiday and hybrid working from London.
