EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company located in Northampton on a permanent basis.

Our client is a market leading precision engineering advanced manufacturing business that specialises in machining complex medium sized components for highly regulated industries including Motorsport F1 and Automotive.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into all candidates must be UK residents and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

• Hours: Afternoons MonThurs 2pm11pm / Fri 12pm8pm (earlier finish on Fridays)
• Permanent position with a market leading precision engineering business

Your responsibilities include:

• Setting operating and editing multi-axis CNC Milling machines
• Machining complex metallic precision components for highly regulated industries such as Automotive Motorsport F1 and Aerospace within a fast paced environment
• Working from engineering drawings and 3D models

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum of 5 years experience setting operating and editing multi-axis Milling machines
• Mazak experience is essential
• Siemens or Fanuc control experience also welcomed
• Ability to program CNC milling machines is preferable but not essential
• Experience running multi-axis machining centres would be advantageous
• Ability to work from engineering drawings
• Previous experience machining complex components ideally within aerospace motorsport nuclear oil & gas or medical sectors
