West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS) is the secondlargest in the country delivering prevention protection and response services across the West Midlands.

Within the cleaning services department we are currently servicing 38 fire stations our transport workshop and our Command Development Centre plus our main headquarters in Birmingham. The post-holder would report to theCleaning and Catering Manager within Facilities Management.

This permanent post is based at one of our fire stations. However there are frequent opportunities for overtime providing cover at other stations.

The role entails cleaning offices hallways stairs mess rooms toilets and changing facilities.

You would be working on your own in the station so you would need to work using your own initiative to the cleaning specification set by your line manager.
