Were preparing for an exciting stage of growth driven by upcoming projects with multiple key clients. While details of these projects are still being finalised we know they will require strong AI talent. We are looking for people who can operate quickly think independently and build robust productionready solutions.

Were proactively expanding our team with an AI Consultant who can help shape and deliver impactful work.

What youll be doing...

Working in a small lean highly capable AI team youll play a central role in developing traditional AI and datascienceled solutions for realworld problems.

Your responsibilities will include:

Building and iterating on datascience models to solve complex business challenges
Exploring and proposing technical solutions especially when documentation is limited or problems are not welldefined
Contributing clean wellstructured code to shared repositories following good coding and versioncontrol practices
Collaborating with stakeholders and presenting insights clearly ensuring technical outputs are understandable and actionable

In your first 36 months success might look like:

Demonstrating strong problemsolving ability by independently navigating ambiguous or novel technical challenges
Delivering highquality traditional AI or datascience models that align with client needs
Communicating confidently and clearly about your technical decisions approach and results in stakeholder discussions
Becoming a trusted partner within a lean fastmoving team that relies heavily on autonomy and critical thinking

What youll need to succeed...

Were looking for someone who brings a thoughtful mix of experience curiosity rigour and communication strength.

You might be a great fit if you have:

35 years of relevant experience delivering technical solutions endtoend
A strong mathematics or quantitative background (essential for model development)
Solid programming skills in Python SQL and Snowflake
Experience building traditional AI or datascience models (e.g. forecasting segmentation classical ML techniques)
Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience explaining complex concepts clearly and confidently to technical and nontechnical audiences
A selfstarter mentality comfortable defining your own process and working in startuplike environments

Nicetohave:

Exposure to agentic or Gen AI systems
Experience building neural networks transformers or LLMbased architectures

This role might not be the right fit if youre looking for:

A highly structured corporate environment with clearly defined processes (were lean fast and selfdriven)
A fully remote role - regular inoffice collaboration in Bristol is required and highly valued by the team
A position focused primarily on Gen AI; the emphasis here is on traditional rigorous data science work with selective use of agentic AI
