The Gifford School

The Gifford School Gifford is a private, nonprofit, coeducational, therapeutic day school providing a specialized educational and clinical program for students who face a variety of learning, behavioral and/or emotional challenges. Gifford serves over 100 students ranging from ages eight to twenty. Students represent more than 60 cities and towns throughout Massachusetts. Guided by a devoted staff of educators and clinicians, in partnership with the students' families and their public school system, The Gifford School strives to help students achieve their full potential, both academically and socially. Gifford is licensed as an approved program by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. With easy access to Route 128 and the Mass Pike, Gifford's 27 acre country campus in Weston, provides a safe and nurturing environment for students. Gifford balances educational and clinical approaches to foster the growth of the students' talents and strengths and address their challenges. Our unique program is built around our High School, Middle School, and Lower School, which form a therapeutic milieu that supports students within a strong community.
