Who we are

aXedras builds software for the global precious metals industry. We build systems for mines refineries traders and vaults to digitize processes exchange data securely and improve traceability across the precious metals supply chain. We work on distributed systems integrations workflow automation data integrity and scalable web applications in an industry that still often runs on spreadsheets PDFs and manual processes. We are looking for engineers who like building things end-to-end and can balance pragmatism with good engineering. You should enjoy modern tooling and AI-assisted development but also understand software architecture trade-offs and long-term maintainability.

Tasks

We care more about strong engineering judgment and ownership than ticking every framework checkbox. You will work directly with experienced engineers and product people on customer-facing applications and platform capabilities. Depending on your strengths your work may include:

• frontend architecture and UX-heavy applications
• backend services and APIs
• workflow and integration development
• AI-assisted engineering workflows
• distributed systems and DLT-related components
• platform and product design decisions

Requirements

We hire more for attitude than keyword matching. We are happy to learn about your motivation and drivers. This role is not just about writing code. We are looking for somebody who takes ownership across architecture delivery technical guidance and day-to-day collaboration within the engineering team.

• Several years of experience building production-grade software
• You use AI-assisted development tools productively and understand their strengths and limitations
• Experience with technologies such as: Typescript/React Kotlin Spring Boot Python
• You know when clean architecture matters and when pragmatism matters more
• You understand SOLID and clean code principles and can discuss trade-offs of architectural approaches such as modular monoliths hexagonal architecture or microservices.
• You help teams stay organized pragmatic and execution-focused
• Proficient in code versioning with Git
• Proficient in English German is a plus
• Swiss work permit
