About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Hardware Design Engineer to join an innovative product development environment focused on advanced electrical and mechanical this role you will work across multidisciplinary teams contributing to the design development testing and validation of integrated hardware solutions involving both low- and high-voltage systems.

You will collaborate closely with hardware designers software engineers and power electronics specialists to develop reliable and high-quality products from concept through validation and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop sheet metal components integrated with electronic systems

• Work with low- and high-voltage hardware systems including cable routing and cable management solutions

• Plan execute and document testing activities according to project timelines

• Build and evaluate prototypes and support verification and validation activities

• Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to ensure technical quality and manufacturability

• Work cross-functionally with software power electronics purchasing production and sales & marketing teams

• Contribute to system integration activities and long-term product development strategies

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within design and development processes

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in product development with a broad technical background across multiple R&D disciplines

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics or a related field

• Hands-on experience with testing prototyping and validation activities

• Strong understanding of mechanical design electrical components and integrated hardware systems

• Experience working with sheet metal design and development

• Familiarity with both low- and high-voltage systems

• Structured proactive and solution-oriented approach to planning and execution

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to thrive in collaborative and innovation-driven environments

• Experience working cross-functionally with purchasing production and commercial teams

• Previous experience in early-stage fast-paced or entrepreneurial environments is highly valued

• Experience within charging infrastructure or related industries is considered a strong advantage
