About the Contract

Ventia has secured the Victorian Road Maintenance Contracts for the Grampians and Eastern Metropolitan regions. Commencing 1 July 2026 Ventia will deliver comprehensive road maintenance emergency response and minor capital works reinforcing its role as a longterm partner supporting safe and reliable road networks across Victoria.

Ventias Transport Infrastructure Solutions business is seeking an experiencedProject Engineer to join the team.

The Project Engineer provides technical and delivery support to planned maintenance and construction activities across the road network. The role supports project teams with engineering input coordination and problem solving throughout the delivery lifecycle.

You will work closely with project managers supervisors and site teams to ensure works are delivered to specification and in line with safety and quality requirements.

This is a permanent full-time position and will be based out of ourWendouree office.

Role responsibilities:

• Provide engineering and technical input to project delivery
• Support planning programming and documentation
• Assist with quality assurance and compliance
• Support site teams and project managers

About You

To be successful in your application you will have:

• Civil engineering qualification
• Experience in road or civil infrastructure projects
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
• Supervisory experience in either Road Maintenance Operations or Construction field
• White Card and drivers licence
• Good understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
• Good working knowledge of MS Word MS Outlook and MS Excel
