Principal Technical Architect

Position Summary:Ingram Micro is seeking an experiencedPrincipal/Technical Architect toplayan integral role in delivering business-led technology-enabled transformationon the Global Platform Technology organization.In thisroleyouwillbe responsible foroverseeing the work being done by other software engineers working on the project as well as the underlying architecture for the software program.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the technical roadmap and support the successful launch of complex products. You will partner with management to help prioritize building the best features our customers need.

Your Role:

• Define and develop high-level architecturaland businesssolutions for complex distributed systems.

• Understanding business needs andtranslatethem into working solutions.

• Lead technical decision-making processes ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Collaborate with engineering product and design teams to build scalable and maintainable systems.

• Establish best practices standards and technical guidelines.

• Create andmaintaintechnical roadmaps that align with business strategy.

• Identifyand mitigate risks in technology adoption and implementation.

• Ensure the successful deployment of complex products focusing on reliability performance and security.

• Provide mentorship to engineers andassistin technical problem-solving.

• Provide key ownership for specific Finance processes and supports the Finance Lead in definition and deployment of SAP Global Template for Finance processes

• Accountable for completelife cyclefrom business requirementsto design through functional solution delivery in production.

What you bring to the role:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise software engineering preferably with strong experience building and supportinghighly availabledistributed systems.

• At least 2 years of experience inrecurring business models and related technologies.

• At least 3 years of experiencein a similar Technical Architect role.

• Proventrack recordofsuccessfully launching complex productsin a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated experience working in a technology-driven organization with an understanding of project lifecycle gathering requirements and system analysis.

• Ability to effectivelyparticipate lead and direct discussions and meetings with stakeholders.

• Strong research analytical and organizational skills with ability to summarize information

• Ability to effectively communicate complex solutions in business terms.

• Strong presentation skills includingabilityto speak and present solutions to peersleadersand executives.

• Effective written communication and documentation skills.

• Strong process knowledge of the many areas ofRecurring Business ModelsFinance and distribution industry experience is a plus.
