Job Description:
An opportunity for a Facilities & Technical Maintenance Engineer has arisen within Airbus Operations Getafe.
The selected candidate will join the TFS organization of Facility Management & Real Estate Spain. In this role you will lead operational activities focused mainly (but not limited to) Cluster 2 managing mechanical maintenance activities such as HVAC compressed air and cranes across divisions. You will work in a multicultural dynamic environment closely collaborating with internal partners and managing key external suppliers to guarantee a safe work environment business continuity and energy efficiency across Airbus sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
Manage and maintain facilities infrastructure and technical equipment to guarantee a safe environment and secure business continuity.
Lead and monitor maintenance suppliers and lump-sum contracts ensuring delivery on time quality and cost according to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPIs.
Write technical specifications and actively participate in Call For Tender (CFT) processes acting as the main point of contact (IOS) for supplier employees.
Control and optimize the annual OpEx and CapEx budget assigned to the maintenance scope.
Drive continuous improvement and process harmonization across Spanish sites making massive use of the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Support the Energy department by contributing to the ISO 50001 Certification controlling water and energy billing and promoting energy efficiency and metering projects.
SKILLS

Education: University degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Maintenance Energy Management or Sustainability.
Technical knowledge: Mastery of digital tools for Maintenance and Energy specifically CMMS (Maximo tool).
Soft skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills analytical mindset proactive attitude strong focus on customer satisfaction and an innovative approach.
Languages: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
Valuable / Nice to have: A multi-purpose profile capable of supporting other FMRE functions when required and willingness to travel occasionally to other Airbus sites.
