Job Summary
Hevy is looking for a Lead React Native Developer to join our growing this role youll take on technical leadership helping to architect develop and scale our mobile apps. Youll tackle our most complex engineering challenges improve system performance and collaborate closely with product managers and designers to shape the future of Hevy.
Were a small fast-moving team supporting millions of users so your work will have a massive impact on both our product and our users. Youll build at scale across iOS and Android ensuring it remains robust and high-performing as we continue to grow.
What Youll Do:
- Lead and contribute to the development of our React Native app
- Architect scalable solutions improving system performance and reliability.
- Mentor and support other engineers fostering a culture of growth and technical excellence.
- Own projects end-to-end from technical planning to execution.
- Work cross-functionally with product managers designers and other engineers to deliver new features and refine existing ones.
What Were Looking For:
- 5 years of experience building React Native mobile apps.
- Deep understanding of at least one of the native platforms (iOS/Android)
- Tech Leadership experience
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of solving technical challenges at scale.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Bonus: A passion for weightlifting calisthenics or fitness!
