About the team

We are looking for a Junior Project Finance Controller to join our Europe & Asia Business Management team on a permanent basis. This role will support the financial management of client projects across their full lifecycle and works closely with Senior Project Finance Controllers and Project Managers contributing to financial monitoring reporting compliance and month-end activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monitoring and analysis of project financial performance
• Assist with project forecasting cost-to-complete reviews and variance analysis
• Contribute to monthly project financial reviews and management reporting
• Support project and contract setup financial maintenance amendments and closure
• Assist with revenue recognition invoicing cash flow WIP and aged receivables monitoring
• Support accrual preparation reconciliations and month-end close processes
• Assist with audit documentation and compliance with internal controls
• Provide basic financial guidance and support to Project Managers
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and administrative tasks as required to support business needs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in a numerate discipline (e.g. Finance Economics Accounting Business...) or equivalent qualification and experience.
• 13 years experience in finance project accounting project administration or similar roles (internships included)
• Basic knowledge of revenue recognition (IFRS / ASC 606 is a plus)
• Good Excel skills (formulas lookups pivot tables)
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage (Maconomy preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Eagerness to learn and develop in a project finance environment
