DevOps Engineer Linux (mfd)

Activity description and concrete tasks:

• You will support project teams in the integration and validation of software of voice services.
• Additionally you will support in development quality assurance and planning as well as implementation of product releases.
• You will design further automations of services processes and/or operating models you will carry out performance analyses and tunings as well as error analysis and fixes.
• You will support the automation of deployments in all environments.
• You will provide a project-specific infrastructure and tool suite for integration and delivery and administer these.
• You manage projects.

Qualifications :

Skill requirements:

• Linux Administration: Secure operation analysis of logs and system states
• Networking Knowledge: IP routing firewall basic understanding of DMZ/proxy
• Virtualization: VMware operations & basic analysis
• Chef (Automation): Applying customizing and deploying cookbooks
• Application Deployment: rollouts and deployments
• Monitoring / Alerting: Proactive monitoring alert evaluation
• Troubleshooting: Cross-system root cause analysis
• Change Management: Performing ITIL- and Telekom-compliant changes
• Incident Management: Rapid analysis and resolution of incidents
• IVR: Support in analyzing application errors
