What Well Bring:

What Youll Bring:

• Advanced JavaScript/TypeScript: 5 years of experience with a deep understanding of ES6 asynchronous programming and strong typing to ensure scalable error-free applications.

• Framework Expertise: Proven experience building production-ready applications with or including a strong grasp of Static Site Generation (SSG).

• Modern CSS & UI: Proficiency in utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS or CSS-in-JS libraries with a focus on creating responsive pixel-perfect interfaces from Figma or similar design tools.

• State Management: Experience managing complex application states using tools like Pinia (or vuex).

• API Integration: Strong experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs and handling data-intensive operations with tools like Axios or Fetch.

• Testing & Quality: Ability to write maintainable code backed by unit and integration tests.

Impact Youll Make:

• Project Ownership: Take features from scoping and requirement gathering through to launch and maintenance with minimal supervision.

• Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve web application performance including page load speeds and SEO optimization.

• Code Quality: Participate in peer code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices security standards and architectural consistency.

• Communication: Ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Adaptability: Proactive in researching and implementing new tools or industry trends to keep the tech stack modern.

Please note it is a requirement of the Global Capability Centre Africa that you reside in a home that is fibre ready; and has space for you to be able to work comfortably and confidentially on a day-to-day basis for the purpose of your proposed employment. You can be based anywhere in South Africa that has fibre but will not be able to work in a location outside of South Africa.

A Minimum of a 100/100 Meg Fibre line is required should you be successful you will need to upgrade your line or install fibre for day one.
