To support our next phase of profitable growth and aggressively diversify our client base we are seeking a sophisticated self-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to own our outbound acquisition pipeline.
Role Overview
This is not a traditional entry-level cold calling role. As our BDR you will target high-value sophisticated asset holders including self-managed landlords aging operators and absentee owners holding portfolios of 10 units. Your primary objective is to build trust with this demographic and open doors for three strategic revenue tiers:
- The Single: Securing high-yield third-party property management contracts.
- The Double/Triple: Initiating creative acquisitions or equity stakes via management agreements that include an option to buy.
- The Home Run: Unlocking ground-up development partnerships and joint ventures.
Critical Requirement: Because your target audience consists primarily of established aging property owners in the US market possessing a highly articulate neutral accent is an absolute non-negotiable requirement for this position to establish immediate credibility and rapport.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Playbook Execution: Arrive on day one ready to implement or co-author an aggressive sales playbook including cold calling scripts multi-channel cadences and follow-up SOPs.
- Multi-Channel Outbound Sourcing: Execute a high-activity mix of direct cold calling tailored email sequences and coordinated physical mailer campaigns to reach ultra-niche property owners.
- Lead Qualification & Discovery: Conduct thorough discovery conversations with property owners to uncover pain points in their current self-management models asset performance or succession plans.
- Pipeline Management: Meticulously track prospects follow-up timelines and property data within our internal CRM to ensure no high-value lead falls through the cracks.
- Executive Handoff: Seamlessly transition warm highly qualified property opportunities and discovery notes to our executive leadership team to close the deal.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 35 years of direct outbound BDR inside sales or cold calling experienceideally targeting high-net-worth individuals business owners or real estate principals.
- Strategic Autonomy: A proven track record of taking total ownership of a sales pipeline. You must be able to point to outreach strategies email cadences or scripts you have built and successfully deployed in past roles.
- Resilience & Hustle: A thick-skinned results-oriented sales professional who is highly motivated by a target-driven environment and an uncapped commission structure.
- Tech Literacy: High proficiency with modern CRM software sales engagement platforms and Google Workspace tools.
