Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team and provide expert-level onsite support in a fast-paced telecom environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing troubleshooting and optimizing complex network infrastructures ensuring high availability security and performance across all network operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure including Routing & Switching BGP and other advanced network protocols.
- Provide onsite technical support resolving complex network issues with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Implement configure and manage Cisco ACI (preferred).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network stability and optimal performance.
- Maintain and enhance network security practices including firewall policies and threat mitigation.
- Participate in network design planning documentation and upgrades.
- Support telecom-grade network operations and meet SLA requirements.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend improvements for network reliability and efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- CCNP or CCIE certification (mandatory).
- Strong hands-on experience in Routing & Switching BGP and enterprise network environments.
- Experience with Cisco ACI (preferred).
- Solid knowledge of firewalls and network security technologies.
- Proven experience as an onsite network support engineer with excellent troubleshooting capabilities.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience working in the telecom industry is highly desirable.
- Strong communication analytical thinking and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience in automation or scripting for network operations.
- Knowledge of SDN virtualization or cloud networking.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
