Job Summary
SPIR – PLANNING ENGINEER (SCAFFOLDING PAINTING INSULATION & REFRACTORY)
Requirements & Responsibilities:
• Minimum 5–8 years of Gulf experience as a Planner/Planning Engineer in SPIR
activities (Scaffolding Insulation Painting & Refractory).
• Should have project/shutdown and Maintenance job experience in Oil & Gas plant.
• Reporting to the Project/Site Manager and handling the client.
• Must be knowledgeable of P& ID GAD& Isometrics drawings.
• Must be knowledgeable on the productivity of SPIR activities (Scaffolding
Insulation Painting & Refractory).
• Capable of preparing the job schedule & graph of the project.
• Must review/study the work pack/Planning pack attend site survey and prepare the
job requirement quantity and material take-off.
• Must prepare completion job measurement sheet/ quantity sheet and get approval
from client approval authority.
• Should have knowledge of SPIR activity Quantity standards/Procedures Method of
statement and QA&QC/ ITP steps.
• Responsible for the planning and allocation of activities and resources (i.e.
Manpower Materials and machines).
• Prepares mobilization and demobilization plan.
• Prepares the Daily Weekly Monthly Progress Report.
• Prepares S-curve job plan for project/shutdown and Maintenance.
• Prepares and forecasts Materials requirements & follow-up Material delivery at site.
