Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinator Offshore
Job Summary
The PTW Coordinator is responsible for managing and controlling the Permit to Work system to ensure all maintenance construction and operational activities are performed safely and in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the issuance monitoring suspension and closure of work permits.
Verify that all work activities are properly risk assessed and authorized.
Ensure compliance with Permit to Work Isolation SIMOPS and HSE procedures.
Coordinate with Operations Maintenance and Contractor personnel regarding permit requirements.
Review Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Method Statements and risk assessments.
Maintain PTW records and reports.
Conduct permit audits and participate in safety inspections.
Support shutdowns turnarounds and major maintenance campaigns.
Requirements
Diploma Higher National Diploma (HND) Associate Degree or equivalent technical qualification.
Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas operations production or maintenance environments.
Minimum 6 years of experience working with production operations and control systems.
Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) SCADA or Oil & Gas Control Command Systems.
Strong knowledge of PTW isolation management lockout/tagout (LOTO) and SIMOPS.
NEBOSH IOSH H2S and PTW certifications preferred.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
