Job Summary
Position: Ophthalmologist
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat diseases injuries and disorders of the eyes and visual system.
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Prescribe medications corrective lenses and treatment plans as required.
- Conduct ophthalmic procedures and surgeries within the scope of specialty practice.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental activities.
Requirements:
- Medical Degree (MD or equivalent).
- Specialist or Consultant qualification in Ophthalmology.
- Valid medical license and eligibility for licensing in Qatar with surgical privileges.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing Ophthalmologist.
- Strong clinical surgical and communication skills.
