Job Summary
The data & operations analyst is responsible for collecting analyzing and reporting operational data to monitor the organizations performance against defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The role supports management decision-making by providing accurate reports dashboards and performance insights while ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain performance monitoring systems and KPI dashboards for operational and strategic activities.
- Collect verify and analyze operational data from different departments such as operations maintenance engineering and finance.
- Prepare periodic reports (daily weekly monthly and annual) on operational and project line with business needs and in collaboration with other departments users of such reports.
- Track KPIs related to service delivery operational efficiency asset performance and contractual compliance.
- Support management in reviewing operational performance and developing improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with contractual reporting requirements and regulatory obligations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required reports and performance analysis.
- Assist in developing new KPIs and improving existing performance measurement frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in engineering Industrial Engineering Data Analytics or a related field
- 35 years of experience in reporting performance monitoring or operational environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools (i.e. PowerBI Google BI Qlik Sense).
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to interpret data and present insights clearly.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Strong collaboration mindset
- Must be Oman resident
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in engineering Industrial Engineering Data Analytics or a related field 35 years of experience in reporting performance
