Project Manager HV Norway
We are looking for a Project Manager who wants to be a key player in the Energy Transition. Are you motivated by making the world greener and doing this in a safe way
As a High Voltage Project Manager in Prysmian you will contribute to the energy transition by managing cable system projects for transmission system operators in the North of Europe with a specific focus on the Norwegian market. You will be responsible for planning and implementing (turnkey) cable projects ensuring project goals are met and client requirements are fulfilled. You take a proactive role from the bidding process to final delivery of the project.
Key responsibilities include reporting project progress to internal and external stakeholders conducting risk analysis coordinating project goals with the team supporting project bidding and project engineering and forming the project team.
You will handle customer orders in our SAP system and coordinate with our supplying factories to ensure delivery schedules are met. You will take timely and precise measures in case of schedule changes and lead problem-solving efforts by bringing together different functions.
In this role you will be part of Prysmian Netherlands and reporting to the head of project management located in Delft the Netherlands. Regular business trip to the Netherlands and possibly other project locations in North Europe are part of the role.
Requirements
You have experience in managing multiple complex projects at the same time you oversee projects from beginning to end and have experience with project management tools supplemented by a course in this area (such as PRINCE2 or IPMA). Experience with Safety Culture Ladder is a plus.
Identifying and assessing risks in a project and determining control measures (risk management) is familiar territory for addition you have good writing skills have experience with contract management; assessing contracts monitoring the agreed contract agreements and terminating contracts. You are able to study applications/tender documents for contractual and delivery technical aspects and consult with internal parties and suppliers regarding feasibility.
Previous experience in project management and coordination is mandatory.
Experience in the construction industry and knowledge of construction processes is a benefit.
Previous experience with contract management
Familiarity with risk management
We value a relevant degree for example in business administration or technical fields.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
Fluency in both Norwegian and English both written and verbal.
Dutch would be a benefit.
