Our client an energy/power distribution company seeks to employ a Licensing Officer
Key Responsibilities:
Review license applications and supporting documentation.
Conduct due diligence and compliance assessments.
Prepare licensing recommendations and reports.
Monitor license compliance with license conditions.
Maintain licensing databases and records.
Support license renewals amendments and revocations.
Participate in policy and regulatory framework development.
Liaise with market participants and stakeholders.
Requirements
LL.B and Call to the Nigerian Bar.
Minimum 68 years experience in licensing compliance or regulatory affairs.
Strong legal drafting and regulatory interpretation skills.
Experience within utilities power or public regulatory institutions preferred.
Required Skills:
Minimum of a bachelors degree in any Engineering discipline Business Administration or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement. Strong understanding of business processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation skills. Strong organizational skills. Strong analytical skills. Strong multitasking skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work independently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Clerical experience in a related function. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong attention to details. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to adapt in a changing environment. Ability to work with minimal supervision Other: Master and relevant certifications are an added advantage
