Role Overview
We are seeking a Backend Developer experienced in NestJS and TypeScript to build and maintain the core infrastructure powering PilotFinance. You will design scalable secure and compliant systems that support cross-border payments treasury management and settlement operations across multiple regions.

We are seeking a Backend Developer experienced in NestJS and TypeScript to build and maintain the core infrastructure powering PilotFinance. You will design scalable secure and compliant systems that support cross-border payments treasury management and settlement operations across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust backend services using NestJS and TypeScript
- Build APIs and microservices for cross-border payments FX processing and settlement systems
- Ensure high availability scalability and performance of backend systems
- Implement secure transaction processing and financial data handling
- Integrate with third-party financial institutions payment gateways and banking APIs
- Develop and manage multi-currency ledger systems
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations (KYC AML audit trails)
- Optimize database performance and manage large-scale transactional data
- Collaborate with frontend teams to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions
- Write clean maintainable and well-documented code
Requirements
- 5 years experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in and NestJS
- Solid experience with TypeScript
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL MySQL or NoSQL)
- Experience with asynchronous programming and message queues (e.g. RabbitMQ Kafka)
- Understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT OAuth)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)
- Strong understanding of system security and data protection

Required Skills:
